UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes and women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg have been negotiating a possible super fight for some time now. However, it would appear that Cyborg is ready to move on.
Nunes claims that she will not be ready to fight until later in the year, perhaps Dec., following an injury. Cris Cyborg, however, is looking to fight much sooner, perhaps in Sept.
Consequently, negotiations have not been going great. Taking to Instagram, Cyborg has decided to make some interesting fighter call outs in response. Check it out below:
“If Amanda Nunes is hurt and can not fight until next year I do not need to wait 10 months without a fight. I can fight @dandoiscindy @indiagomesmma or @pambamsorenson at #ufc228 or #ufcsp! They are all ranked top 10 and I am healthy and in the prime of my career. I am ready to fight now and should not be penalized because Nunes is hurt #cyborgnation #criscyborg #ufcfn137”
