The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) delivered another stacked night of fights over the weekend. That being said, the night’s co-main event has been garnering attention for possibly being one of the most uneventful fights to ever take place inside the octagon.
The T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. hosted the highly anticipated fight card for UFC 226 on Saturday, July 7, for International Fight Week. Featured in the night’s live pay-per-view co-main event, former UFC heavyweight title challenger Francis Ngannou and tough division contender Derrick Lewis went toe-to-toe.
The two fighters reportedly threw less than 30 strikes throughout the entire fight. As the fight ultimately went the distance without almost any significant damage having been displayed, the crowd began to boo in outrage of the bout.
