Joanna Jedrzejczyk And Tecia Torres Go The Distance, In War For The Ages | UFC Results

Former UFC women’s strawweight Joanna Jedrzejczyk is stepping inside the octagon once again, as the former title holder is looking to get back inside the winning column. Now the time has come to take a look at the UFC results for the big match up.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk is coming off of a tough two fight losing streak at the moment. The fighter suffered the end of her undefeated streak and her title reign when she faced Rose Namajunas at UFC 217, ultimately being dealt a first round TKO loss.

Jedrzejczyk had a rematch with Rose Namajunas at UFC 223, ultimately suffering a unanimous decision loss to the new champion. Now Jedrzejczyk is facing Tecia Torres on the main card of UFC on FOX 30 this Saturday, July 28, in Calgary, Canada.

The first round will be a tough one for the judges. Jedrzejczyk quickly began pouring on the pressure against her opponent. Rushing Torres against the fence, Jedrzejczyk spent much of the round performing some dirty boxing from inside the clinch. However, Torres was able to snap off some good shots of her own.

The second round largely went down on the feet, with Jedrzejczyk and Torres electing to meet inside the octagon for a series of exchanges. Torres ended the round with an intense flurry of blows that seemingly left Jedrzejczyk rocked. This was likely a great round for Torres.

The two mixed martial artists once again traded in the center of the octagon in the final round. Once again, Tecia Torres appeared to be getting just a little more in each of the exchanges.

That being said, neither fighter was able to get a finish. This one has gone the distance.

UFC Results: Joanna Jedrzejczyk def. Tecia Torres via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
