Fight fans are making their way to Calgary, Canada this weekend for the latest fight card from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). With that in mind, the time has come to take a look at the UFC results for the exciting fight card.
UFC on FOX 30 is taking place on Saturday, July 28, for the Calgary crowd. In the featured prelim fight live on FOX, welterweights Jordan Mein and Alex Morono are going toe-to-toe in a fight for division supremacy.
Mein and Morono began swinging for the fences almost immediately. Mein managed to get his opponent to the canvas following an intense exchange.
However, the fight eventually found itself back to the feet. Mein managed to get Morono back to the canvas, but failed to get a finish or dish out much damage from the position before the sound of the bell.
Early in the second round, Mein managed to get his opponent back to the ground with another takedown. This time, however, Mein managed to dish out some brutal ground and pound.
Morono managed to get his opponent to the canvas in the final round. However, the fighter failed to get a finish before the sound of the bell. This one has gone the distance.
