UFC lightweight Justin Gaethje has found himself on a two fight losing streak. Now the 29-year-old fighting phenom has come forward to claim that he will consider retirement if he suffered a lopsided defeated to his next opponent.
Gaethje has put on two fight of the year contenders in his previous fights, having faced off against Eddie Alvarez and Dustin Poirier. Now Gaethje is set to face off against James Vick on the highly anticipated fight card of UFC Fight Night 135.
The event will take place Aug. 25 from within the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. Speaking on ESPN’s Ariel Helwani Show, Gaethje revealed that he will “hang ‘em up” if he is outclassed by James Vick on fight night.
