Nick Newell Breaks His Silence Following Lost Shot At UFC Contract On Dana White’s Contender Series

Mixed martial arts phenom Nick Newell fought for a chance at a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on Tuesday. However, things simply did not go the fighter’s way. Now Newell has come forward with a new statement on the matter.

Week six of season two for Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series took place on Tuesday, July 24, in Las Vegas, Nev. Headlining the night’s event, Nick Newell went toe-to-toe with Team Alpha Male’s Alex Munoz.

Munoz put on a dominant performance over his opponent, ultimately earning a unanimous decision victory over the fighter. Taking to Instagram, Newell has now decided to come forward with his response to the tough loss.
