Reigning UFC women’s strawweight champion Rose Namajunas earned her title by knocking out Joanna Jedrzejczyk within the first round back at UFC 217. In their rematch, Namajunas earned a unanimous decision victory over her opponent.
That being said, Joanna Jedrzejczyk has been less than humble concerning the consecutive losses to the reigning champion. Speaking to TMZ Sports, Jedrzejczyk said “I give you credit, but bow down. Bow down on yours knees, because I am the real strawweight queen. Maybe you won the first fight, because of someone’s mistakes.
“It was not my fault that I lost this fight. I was going to win with you and I won last fight. And, you know this so bow down. I respect that you are the champ, but I am the strawweight queen.”
