Results: Dana White’s Contender Series Fight Stopped Mid Action Due to Power Outage | Replay

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is delivering week five of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series tonight, July 17, from within the UFC Training Center in Las Vegas, Nev. Now fight fans can check out the UFC results from the latest fight on the card.

Now middleweights Anthony Adams and Chibwikem Onyenegecha are battling it out for the Las Vegas crowd and for a shot at a UFC contract.

The first round went at a methodical pace. Onyenegecha controlled the pace for much of the opening five minutes, repeatedly landing leg kicks on the fighter. However, neither competitors managed to get a finish before the sound of the bell.

The second round was much of the same as the first. Adams began picking up the pace within the final half of the round, but neither fighter managed to dish out much damage before the sound of the bell.

Neither fighter seemed determined to get a finish in the final round, as Onyenegecha and Adams failed to have meaningful exchanges in the center of the octagon for much of the round. Then, the lights in the UFC Training Center suddenly shut off, bringing a sudden stop to the contest.

The fight once again ensued after a few minutes of stalling, as the lights returned to the arena. However, neither fighter was able to get a finish before the sound of the bell.

UFC Results: Chibwikem Onyenegecha def. Anthony Adams via split decision (29-28, 28-29 and 29-28)
