Las Vegas, Nev. is hosting another exciting night of fights tonight, as the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has returned to the famous city. This time around, Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series is taking the spotlight.
Week six of season two for the show is taking place this Tuesday, July 24, and features a series of exciting match ups. Among them, light heavyweights Jim Crute and Chris Birchler are facing off for the Las Vegas crowd. The UFC results may be viewed below.
Birchler walked down his opponent for much of the first round. Crute continued to land some powerful shots, but Birchler appeared to be unfazed.
Then Crute smashes his opponent with a strike that sent Birchler stumbling backwards. Having seen enough, the referee called a stop to the contest with Birchler still standing on his feet.
