UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker and tough division contender Kelvin Gastelum have been rumored for an upcoming title fight. Now it would appear that the two mixed martial artists will be doing more than that in their rivalry.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was in Las Vegas, Nev. on Friday, July 6, for The Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale. During the live FS1 broadcast, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion revealed that Robert Whittaker and Kelvin Gastelum have been locked in as the coaches for season 28 of the famous reality television show.
A date and venue for their title fight has yet to be announced, though the match will take place after the airing of TUF 28.
