The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is always looking to lock down new and exciting match ups. Now a new rumor suggests that the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is targeting a fight between Tony Ferguson and Dustin Poirier for the Madison Square Garden.
Dustin Poirier is riding a stunning TKO victory over former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez from UFC on FOX 30 this weekend. Meanwhile, former interim UFC lightweight title holder Tony Ferguson is recovering from a tough knee injury.
Now Middle Easy has come forward with a rumor that the UFC is looking to pin the two fighters against each other at UFC 230. The live pay-per-view event will take place inside the Madison Square Garden in New York on Nov. 3.
