The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is in Boise, Idaho this weekend to host the promotion’s latest fight card. With UFC Fight Night 133 now going down, the time has come to take a look at the UFC results.
The highly anticipated fight card for UFC Fight Night 133 is taking place within the Centur Link Arena for the Boise crowd and fight fans worldwide. Continuing the preliminary card live on FS1, Team Alpha Male’s Darren Elkins is going toe-to-toe with Alexander Volkanovski for the Boise crowd.
The first round was a war. Volkanovski applied pressure for much the first five minutes, but Elkins managed to fend off his opponent until the sound of the bell. Volkanovski attempted a two different guillotines attempts on his opponent, but failed to finish the MMA phenom.
The second round offered another brutal exchange between the two mixed martial artists. Elkins began to pepper his opponent with counter right hands, though Volkanovski continued to land power shots over the fighter.
In the final round, the two mixed martial artists began chasing for a fight of the night bonus as they traded in the center of the octagon. Elkins had been dropped multiple times in the fight, but continued to wage war with his opponent with seemingly no interest in backing down.
This one has gone the distance.
