Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin first faced off back in 2017. However, the match up ultimately ended in a highly controversial majority draw. Consequently, the two pugilist phenoms were scheduled for an immediate rematch for Cinco de Mayo 2018.
However, the bout was eventually cancelled. Canela Alvarez failed a series of drug tests, bringing an abrupt end to the bout.
However, the two boxers are now officially set to throw down on Sept. 15 from within the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. Now Bloody Elbow has come forward to report the exciting undercard for the upcoming event.
