Former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez finished out his fight contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) back at UFC on FOX 30. Following the former title holder’s tough loss to Dustin Poirier, Alvarez is now a free agent.
Speaking on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show, former Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler revealed his interest in setting up a rematch against Eddie Alvarez. Chandler went on to claim that he believes there is a real possibility that Eddie Alvarez will sign back to Bellator MMA rather than renew his UFC contract.
Eddie Alvarez is a former Bellator lightweight champion, as well as a former UFC title holder.
