Set for the co-main event of UFC 230 at Madison Square Garden, top UFC lightweight contender Dustin Poirier has pushed his earned title shot to the side to welcome back UFC mega-star Nate Diaz after a two year absence from the sport.
And despite what Dana White insists, Nate Diaz represents one half of what is the two biggest stars presently signed to the UFC. Outside of Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz is historically the companies biggest draw.
Poirier knows this, and he’s seeming a little star struck.
