Jacked Up Jones Officially Throws His Name Out To Challenge For D.C.’s Heavyweight Strap

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is currently awaiting USADA’s decision concerning his latest failed drug test. That being said, it would appear that the former title holder is interested in having another rematch with reigning two-division champion Daniel Cormier.

Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier have heated rivalry that has bubbled and boiled over the years. Jones defeated D.C. in their first match up, but failed a drug test that caused his second victory over Cormier to be overturned to a no contest.

Daniel Cormier has since gone on to earn the UFC heavyweight title, as well as now being the light heavyweight champion once again. Speaking to Russian media, Jon Jones has since come forward to reveal that he is willing to rematch Daniel Cormier within the heavyweight division.

“I think fighting Daniel Cormier at heavyweight would be a bigger challenge. He’s more comfortable there. His body type, that’s where he wants to be. He wants to be big. I think he would be a tougher fight at heavyweight, but I still believe I would win. I believe I have his number. I know how to beat him.”
