UFC light heavyweight contender Ilir Latifi has been looking to lock down a fight against reigning division champion Daniel Cormier for some time now. Well, former champion Jon Jones has now come forward with a message for Latifi.
Daniel Cormier has yet to fully commit to an opponent for his next fight. As the light heavyweight and heavyweight champion of the UFC, D.C. has revealed an interest in defending his heavyweight title against former champion Brock Lesnar.
However, Lesnar must complete another six months of his suspension first following a failed drug test at UFC 200. In the meantime, Cormier is reportedly interested in defending his light heavyweight title one more time.
Since then, the fighter has been inundated with call outs. While Ilir Latifi has been calling out the two-division champion, the fighter has yet to receive an agreement from Daniel Cormier.
Now Cormier’s longtime heated rival and former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who has proclaimed himself the champion over Daniel Cormier multiple times before, has come forward to advise Ilir Latifi on how to make his way to a fight with “Bones.”
