UFC women’s strawweight Joanne Calderwood is currently set to face off against Kalindra Faria this weekend. With that in mind, the two talented mixed martial artists recently went face-to-face for an intense staredown.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is currently set to host the highly anticipated fight card for UFC Fight Night 135 on Saturday, Aug. 25, from within the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Featured in the night’s event, Calderwood and Faria will be each looking for redemption. Both fighters are coming off of tough two fight losing streaks at the moment.
With the UFC having seemingly formed a tendency to cut some fighters that go on a losing streak of three bouts or more, the upcoming bout has become an important one for Calderwood and Faria. Hitting the scales at the recent official weigh-ins, both fighters managed to make weight.
