The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) delivered the exciting fight card for UFC 227 over the weekend. With the stunning night of fights now in the books, the time has come to take a look at the UFC fighter payroll for the top payed fighters on the card.
UFC 227 took place within the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif. on Saturday, Aug. 4. The live pay-per-view event featured a main event rematch between UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw and former title holder Cody Garbrandt.
Co-headlining the night’s card, UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson faced off against Henry Cejudo. As reported by MMA Fighting, “Mighty Mouse” earned a guaranteed $380,000 for his title ending split decision loss to Henry Cejudo.
Meanwhile, Cejudo earned a guaranteed $100,000. While neither fighter reportedly earned a win bonus, Demetrious Johnson is believed to have gained a share of the pay-per-view purchases.
T.J. Dillashaw took home a guaranteed $350,000 for his first round TKO victory over Cody Garbrandt, who earned a total $200,000. Cub Swanson took home $90,000 for his fight against Renato Moicano. Moicano, having won the fight, earned a total $52,000.
