The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is gearing up for another exciting night of fights this weekend. That being said, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is also planning a special press conference ahead of the ceremonial weigh-ins for the event.
The highly anticipated fight card for UFC 227 goes down this Saturday, Aug. 4, from within the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif. Headlining the night’s live pay-per-view event, UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw will be taking on former title holder Cody Garbrandt in an intense title fight rematch.
That being said, the UFC will be hosting a special press conference ahead of the ceremonial weigh-ins for UFC 227 later today. The conference will be focused on announcing more concerning the UFC’s upcoming schedule and upcoming match ups.
A collection of UFC superstars are expected to be in attendance. No fighters have officially been announced in attendance for the event, but UFC 228 headliners Tyron Woodley and Darren Till are expected to be present. Beyond that, Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier are rumored to be making an appearance. Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov are other possible participants in the press conference.
