Canelo Alvarez and unified middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin are throwing down inside the squared circle later tonight, offering boxing fans a highly anticipated title match for the ages. With that in mind, former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub has decided to come forward with his thoughts on the upcoming match up.
“GGG” and Alvarez first faced off back in 2017. The epic battle inside the squared circle ultimately went the distance, reaching an incredibly controversial majority draw.
Canelo Alvarez postponed their May 5, 2018 rematch when he failed a drug test. Now, however, the two pugilists will be battling it out inside the illustrious T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. on Saturday, Sept. 15.
