Following Two Fight Losing Streak, Michael Chiesa Is Done With The UFC Lightweight Division

UFC lightweight Michael Chiesa has found himself on a bit of a losing streak. That being said, it would appear that the talented mixed martial artist has now decided to change weight classes.

Michael Chiesa missed weight for his match up against Kevin Lee back in 2017. Lee still earned a first round submission victory over the fighter, however.

Chiesa then voiced complaints concerning his weight cut for UFC 226, in which Anthony Pettis went on to earn a second round submission victory over the fighter. Now ESPN has gone on to report that Michael Chiesa is planning to move up to the welterweight division for his next octagon performance.
