Jon Jones Octagon Return Targeted For UFC 232, Intended Opponent Revealed

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones failed a drug test for UFC 214. That being said, the former title holder has since been given a 15-month suspension by USADA that is retroactive to the date of the drug test failure.

Consequently, Jon Jones will once again be eligible to compete inside the octagon on Oct. 28, 2018. Fight fans and fighters alike have since been fervently waiting to hear news concerning the former champion’s possibly immanent octagon return.

ESPN’s Ariel Helwani has since come forward to report that the UFC is targeting a rematch between Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson for UFC 232. The event is set to take place Dec. 29, live on pay-per-view from Las Vegas, Nev.
