Former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez is now a free agent. While many fight fans perhaps expected the UFC veteran to be deep in negotiations with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) for a new contract, it would appear that the former title holder currently has other promotions in mind.
Eddie Alvarez is currently coming off of a tough second round TKO loss to Dustin Poirier. With that in mind, the former champion is now a free agent. As reported by Middle Easy, a new reumor claims that Eddie Alvarez is eyeing a possible fight under Rizin Fighting Federation or Bellator MMA.
