UFC women’s strawweight champion Rose Namajunas is currently riding two consecutive victories over formerly undefeated and formerly dominant title holder Joanna Jedrzejczyk. That being said, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently posted a possible next fight for the reigning champion before deleting the posting entirely.
UFC 230 is set to go down Nov. 3 from within the illustrious Madison Square Garden in New York. UFC superstar Nate Diaz will take on tough UFC lightweight contender Dustin Poirier in the night’s high profile co-main event.
Despite the fight night being less than two months away, the UFC has yet to lock down a main event for the live pay-per-view. UFC.com recently posted a Rose Namajunas vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk trilogy fight for the headliner. However, the fight has since been removed from the website. MMA Junkie’s John Morgan reached out to the promotion and the UFC revealed that the posting was a mistake and has since been corrected.
