As reported by Bloody Elbow, Bubba McDaniel was arrested on Saturday following a series of threatening messages that were posted on Facebook. The fighter has since posted bail and has been released from Wichita County Jail.
McDaniel allegedly offered $10,000 to anyone that gave him the location of the man he believes responsible for the death of his two-year-old son. McDaniel then threatened to put a bullet in the man’s head.
When police arrived at McDaniel’s home, the former UFC fighter had a firearm at his hip and was reportedly looking for ammunition. McDaniel’s son passed away just two weeks ago on Oct. 11.
Speaking on the Slip And Dip podcast after being released from jail, McDaniel offered some insight into the incident. The former UFC fighter claimed that the man his son’s mother was with allegedly murdered the two-year-old boy.
“I was told the man that she was with killed my son. I can’t go into details on a lot of things on that because of the investigation, but I was told that my son was murdered.”
“The other night, I said some things. I told everybody I wanted to kill him. I feel like I need to kill this man for my son or I’m not a man … I told the cops, I’m not searching for him, but if I see him I’ll kill him.”
