UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov recently provided an ultimatum to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Now it would appear that Bellator heavyweight Chael Sonnen has decided to do the same concerning a different matter.
Khabib Nurmagomedov attacked Conor McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis directly after submitting “Notorious” at UFC 229. The incident sparked a massive brawl between the two fighters’ training camps.
Consequently, Nurmagomedov’s teammate Zubaira Tukhugov was banned from the UFC for having allegedly attacked Conor McGregor. Khabib Nurmagomedov has since issued an ultimatum to the UFC, claiming that he will leave the octagon if his teammate is now reinstated within the promotion.
Meanwhile, Bellator heavyweight Chael Sonnen is currently preparing for his massive fight against Fedor Emelianenko within the Bellator heavyweight tournament grand prix at Bellator 208. Despite the upcoming match up, Chael Sonnen has decided to issue an ultimatum to the promotion.
Eddie Alvarez is a former lightweight champion of both Bellator MMA and the UFC. With the former title holder having recently become a free agent, Chael Sonnen is seemingly quite interest in seeing Eddie Alvarez re-signed to Bellator MMA.
