Former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell appears to have suffered a black eye as of late. Now the former title holder has come forward to discuss the matter.

“The Iceman” is currently set to face off against fellow former champion and longtime rival Tito Ortiz. The two mixed martial arts veterans will battle it out on Nov. 24 in Inglewood, Calif. It will be Oscar De La Hoya’s inaugural main event for his new Golden Boy MMA promotion.
Speaking in a recent promo video, Chuck Liddell can be seen sporting a nasty black eye. The former champion has since revealed that the bruise was not from a sparring session.
“One of my training partners poked me in the eye, but it’s okay.” Liddell said. “It is what it is. It happens. We were actually just drilling. We weren’t even sparring.”
