UFC megastar Conor McGregor finally made his massive octagon return last weekend. However, things did not quite go the Ireland native’s way.
“Notorious” faced off against undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in a battle for division dominance, following months of heated back-and-forth controversy between the two fighters. McGregor and “The Eagle” headlined UFC 229 on Oct. 6, live on pay-per-view for fight fans around the world.
Nurmagomedov put on a dominant performance over his opponent, ultimately earning a stunning fourth round submission victory. Now SBG Ireland head coach John Kavanagh has come forward to reveal that he has yet to even speak with Conor McGregor following the devastating loss.
“This will probably surprise you, but I have actually not spoken to Conor since the fight.”
