The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be holding a massive pay-per-view event in just a few weeks. That being said, it would appear that the highly anticipated fight card for the event just lost one of its top superstars.
UFC 230 is set to take place Saturday, Nov. 3, from within the illustrious Madison Square Garden arena in New York. The event will be featured live on pay-per-view for fight fans around the world.
UFC superstar Nate Diaz was initially set to face off against tough UFC lightweight contender Dustin Poirier in the co-main event for the evening. However, Poirier has since reportedly pulled out of the fight due to a yet undisclosed injury.
Now the Los Angeles Times’ Lance Pugmire has come forward to report UFC President Dana White has now removed Nate Diaz from the fight card as well. The event will be headlined with a heavyweight title fight between two-division champion Daniel Cormier and talented knockout artist Derrick Lewis.
