UFC megastar Conor McGregor earned an estimate $100 million back in 2017, making for the largest payday of the fighter’s career. That being said, UFC President Dana White believes the fighter could potentially do the same at UFC 229 this weekend.
Conor McGregor faced off against Floyd Mayweather Jr. back in 2017, making for the Ireland native’s professional boxing debut. “Notorious” suffered a TKO loss in the tenth round, but still walked away with a massive payday.
Now the former two-division UFC champion is set to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov for the UFC lightweight championship at UFC 229 on Oct. 6. Speaking to TMZ Sports, UFC President Dana White revealed that he believes Conor McGregor is capable of achieving his estimated $100 million payday from his Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov on Saturday.
