Dana White ‘worked it out’ With Khabib, Says Nurmagomedov No Longer Threatening To Leave The UFC

Undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted MMA megastar Conor McGregor back at UFC 229 on Oct. 6. After the fight, Nurmagomedov leaped out of the octagon and sparked a fracas between the two opposing fight camps.

The NSAC has since frozen Khabib Nurmagomedov’s $2 million payday for the duration of their investigation into the incident. Meanwhile, the UFC has banned Nurmagomedov’s teammate Zubaira Tukhugov from the promotion for his alleged involvement into the UFC 229 brawl.

Nurmagomedov has since issued an ultimatum, as the Dagestan native is threatening to leave the UFC if his teammate is not reinstated into the octagon. Speaking to TMZ Sports, UFC President Dana White has since come forward to claim that the promotion and Khabib Nurmagomedov have since settled things and are now on good terms.

While the UFC executive failed to confirm or deny if Zubaira Tukhugov will remain on the UFC roster, Dana White continued to claim that Khabib Nurmagomedov is no longer threatening to leave the UFC.

“We’re good.” White said. “We’re good with Khabib. You guys are still posting that sh*t. That was a week ago. A lot happens in a week in this business.”
