Floyd Mayweather Says It’s Not All Talk, ‘Khabib And I Are Fighting’

Undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted Conor McGregor live on pay-per-view for the main event of UFC 229 back on Oct. 6. After the fight, the reigning title holder has since gone on to challenge 50-0 boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. to a boxing match.

“Money” Mayweather has since shown an interest in the match up. Speaking to TMZ Sports, Mayweather has now come forward to confirm that he is motivated to take on the Dagestan native inside the squared circle.

“Oh, absolutely.” Mayweather said, when asked if he is serious about wanting to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov. “We are fighting. I’m my own boss, so I can’t say what’s going on Khabib’s end. But on my end, we can make it happen.”
