“Money” Mayweather faced off against mixed martial arts megastar Conor McGregor inside the boxing ring back in 2017. Having earned a massive payday from the event, Mayweather has since shown an interest in facing the reigning UFC lightweight title holder.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, however, UFC President Dana White has now come forward to reveal that Floyd Mayweater Jr. will have to compete inside the octagon if he wants to take on anyone from the UFC roster.
“Listen if Mayweather wants to fight, come fight.” White said. “Fight in the UFC. We’re not boxing again. We did that once, that’s over. You want to fight, come fight.”
