Joey Diaz Comes To Khabib's Defense Following Nurmagomedov's Ultimatum To The UFC

UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov attacked Dillon Danis outside of the octagon just after submitting Conor McGregor at UFC 229. The attack sparked a full on brawl between the two fighters’ training camps.

Nurmagomedov’s teammate Zubaira Tukhugov allegedly attacked Conor McGregor within the octagon during the fracas, leading to the UFC banning the fighter for life. Taking to Instagram, Khabib Nurmagomedov has since gone on to issue an ultimatum to the UFC. The reigning UFC lightweight champion wants his teammate reinstated into the promotion or he himself will leave the UFC.

Why didn’t you fire anyone when their team attacked the bus and injured a couple of people? They could have killed someone there, why no one says anything about insulting my homeland, religion, nation, family?

“Why do you have to punish my team, when both teams fought. If you say that I started it, then I do not agree, I finished what he had started.
