Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor and MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz got into it at the recent UFC 229 press conference in New York. That being said, UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov believes his manager could have maybe taken “Notorious.”
Nurmagomedov and the Ireland native are set to face off at UFC 229 on Saturday in what has become one of the year’s most highly anticipated match ups. Speaking on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show, Khabib Nurmagomedov has since come forward to reveal his thoughts on Ali Abdelaziz’s recent verbal scuffle with “Notorious.”
“I’m not politic, you know. I’m professional athlete. If he have problem with my manager, he can talk with him. He can fight with my manager, my manager 100 percent going to choke him – he’s a black belt from Renzo Gracie.”
