Khabib’s Father Officially Forgives Conor McGregor For Role In Team vs. Team Rivalry

UFC megastar Conor McGregor was heavy on the trash-talk leading up to UFC 229. “Notorious” even started verbally attacking his opponent’s father, calling Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov a “coward.”

Well, since then, Conor McGregor has suffered a fourth round submission loss to undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 on Oct. 6. After the fight, the Dagestan native leaped over the cage and attacked McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis.

A brawl quickly ensued between McGregor and Nurmagomedov’s cornermen. Taking to social media, Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov has since revealed that he forgives Conor McGregor for his statements leading up to the fight.

“I forgive Conor McGregor for what he said. It is necessary to analyse what happened in the past and learn lessons from it. We have decided to move to other heights. I hope this is a blessing. InshAllah.”
