The most highly anticipated mixed martial arts event of the year is now going down for fight fans worldwide. Now fans can check out the UFC results from the latest bout to make it to the fight card.
UFC 229 is going down tonight, Oct. 6, from within the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov are set the headline the historic event live on pay-per-view.
Continuing the night of fights on the UFC’s early prelims via UFC Fight Pass, lightweights Gray Maynard and Nik Lentz are now battling it out inside the octagon for division supremacy.
Lentz opened up the round with some stunning strikes. Maynard was quickly put on the defensive as his opponent continued to lay on the pressure. Maynard managed to survive the round, but Lentz ultimately put on a dominant performance.
Lentz landed an accidental eye poke early in the second. However after a few moments, the fight resumed. Lentz quickly landed a headkick, bringing an end to the contest.
