Undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. recently took to social media with a controversial message concerning former opponent Oscar De La Hoya. Now De La Hoya has decided to fire back.
Referencing Oscar De La Hoya’s 2007 photo scandal, Floyd Mayweather Jr. issued the following message.
“11yrs ago,I fought her and her name is Oscar ‘Golden Girl’ Dela Hoya. Please leave the most disrespectful caption you can think of.”
Taking to Twitter, De La Hoya has now decided to fire back with a response. Canelo Alvarez, a fellow former opponent of “Money” Mayweather, recently landed a historic fight contract with streaming service DAZN. Alvarez competes under Oscar De La Hoya’s Golen Boy Promotions.
“Hey, @Canelo someone is salty about your record breaking contract with @DAZN_USA. Good thing we will never resort to hitting women. #DomesticAbuser #DomesticViolence #AntiDomesticViolence #Salty #FloydMayweather #SaltyFloyd #FloydSaltyMayweather #whyyoumad”
