The world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is delivering a stunning night of fights right now. With the fight card now underway, the time has come to take a look at the UFC results from the latest bout to enter the octagon.
UFC 229 is going down inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. tonight, Oct. 6, for fight fans around the world. In the first bout to kick off tonight’s FS1 featured preliminary card, lightweights Scott Holtzman and Alan Patrick are throwing down for the Las Vegas crowd.
Holtzman opened up the first round with a flurry of blows. Patrick attempted to land some power shots of his own, but continued to get pieced up by his opponent. This was a dominant round for Holtzman.
Holtzman continued to land debilitating leg kicks to his opponent in the second round. Patrick began to pick up the pace with a higher frequency of strikes, but Holtzman was seemingly getting the better of his opponent on the feet.
Patrick once again picked up the pace in the final round. However, Holtzman dropped his opponent with a devastating strike.
