Former UFC light heavyweight champions Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz have each returned from retirement. Now the two former title holders are set to battle it out for a trilogy rematch.
Liddell and Ortiz recently signed with Oscar De La Hoya’s new Golden Boy MMA promotion, as the two UFC legends will headline the new promotion’s inaugural event. The live pay-per-view event will take place Nov. 24 from within The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
As reported by MMA Fighting, however, the promotion recently made some changes to their proposed fight card for the event. For instance, Albert Morales and Cleber Luciano are no longer on the card. Kendall Grove is also no longer on the bout sheet.
