Mixed martial artist, kickboxer and decorated boxer Christian Daghio has passed away. Now details concerning the tragedy have been brought to light.
At 49-years-old, Christian Daghio passed away on Oct. 26. As reported by News.com.au, Daghio was knocked out during a boxing match in Bangkok, Thailand. Daghio was knocked down twice within the 12 round, ultimately landing on the back of his head in the final knockdown.
Daghio was rushed to the hospital shortly after, but passed away while receiving medical attention.
The boxer’s brother Fabrizio Daghio offered a few words on the matter to Italian press. “Christian died as he wanted to die, that is in the ring,” The brother stated. “He dreamed of fighting until he was 80 years old.”
