Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate is retired from the sport of mixed martial arts. That being said, a new rumor suggests that the former title holder may soon be signing a contract with mixed martial arts promotion ONE Championship.

Miesha Tate has not competed within the sport of mixed martial arts since back in 2016. After suffering a tough two-fight losing streak, the former champion elected to retire from the UFC.
As reported by FOX Sports Asia’s Andrew Whitelaw, Miesha Tate is now rumored to be making her way to Singapore in order to sign a contract with ONE Championship. Details concerning the alleged contract have yet to be revealed. However, ONE Championship just recently picked up two other UFC notables, as former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez and former flyweight title holder Demetrious Johnson are now both on the promotion’s roster.
