It would appear that former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo and mixed martial arts warrior Jeremy Stephens have reached a verbal agreement to face off inside the octagon. Now it would appear that a potential date has been set for the targeted match up.
Jose Aldo is coming off of a tough two fight losing streak, having lost his title to Max Holloway and then suffered another loss in an immediate rematch with the fighter. Jeremy Stephens, on the other hand, is on a roll at the moment.
The fighter is now on a three fight winning streak, having most recently earned a brutal knockout finish over Josh Emmett. Now Combate has reported Aldo and Stephens have verbally agreed to face off against each other.
The two fighters are reportedly being targeted for UFC on FOX 30 on July 28. A city has yet to be chosen for the exciting event.
