Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate no longer competes within the sport of mixed martial arts. However, the fighter still enjoys offering her opinion on various matters of the sport.
This time around, the former title holder decided to offer a few words on the topic of low blows.
Groin shots are illegal blows within the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Still, accidents happen. Consequently, fighters are sometimes put in a situation where they accidentally receive a low blow, ending in excruciating pain for the recipient.
As a former UFC women’s bantamweight champion, Miesha Tate decided to give her opinion on groin shots when asked by TMZ Sports.
“I don’t think like a guy, no. But, it hurts.” Tate said when asked if groin shots hurt as much for girls as they do for guys. Check out the full interview below:
