While former multi-division UFC champion Conor McGregor seemingly drew the ire of many of the promotion’s competitors following the recent fracas in Brooklyn, New York, it would appear that UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway is not among them. Now the reigning champion has come forward with a few words on “Notorious.”
Conor McGregor is currently facing criminal charges for the alleged attack on a UFC bus from April 5. The bus was filled with red corner fighters set to compete at UFC 223.
The attack occurred within a loading dock in Brooklyn, New York’s Barclays Center. In the end, multiple individuals were harmed in the attack.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Max Holloway has come forward to reveal that he hopes the best for the Ireland native in his upcoming court date.
“Conor’s got some serious stuff going on and I wish nothing but the best for the guy.”
“I feel bad for the guy right now with his legal issues and I hope everything goes good for him.
“As a family man to a family man, I hope everything turns out good for him.”
