UFC welterweight Mike Perry recently made the change from his Florida training camp to American Kickboxing Academy (AKA) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. With Jon Jones being a longtime member of the gym, Mike Perry has now come forward with a story about his first time meeting the former UFC light heavyweight champion.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Mike Perry revealed that after eating a brownie he seemingly felt extremely high. The fighter was then introduced to the former title holder, leading to an interesting first impression.
“I had this f*cking brownie, and I was dead when Jon came through.”
“I didn’t know it was going to be like that! So, Jon’s like a little disappointed in me, because our first meeting the other day I was high as hell on some brownie!!”
