Talented knockout artist Derrick Lewis is currently preparing for a title shot. That being said, the tough contender does not believe he necessarily deserves it above former champion Stipe Miocic.

Daniel Cormier earned the UFC heavyweight title with a first round knockout over Stipe Miocic back at UFC 226. Since then, the Cleveland native has been campaigning for an immediate rematch.
Rather, Cormier is now set to defend his title from Derrick Lewis in the main event of UFC 230. The fight will take place Nov. 3, live on pay-per-view.
Speaking at the recent UFC 230 media day, Derrick Lewis revealed that be believes Stipe Miocic deserves a title shot over himself.
“It’s just one that I can’t pass up, because I know there’s a lot of guys in this division that probably deserve a shot more than I’m getting. I probably don’t deserve a shot more than Stipe, who should have got the shot. But ain’t no telling the next time I’m gonna get the opportunity, so I gotta jump on it anyways.”
