Former ONE Championship welterweight title holder Ben Askren is on the brink of being traded to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Now the undefeated former champion has come forward with a message for the UFC’s welterweight division.

The UFC and ONE Championship are currently in negotiations. ONE Championship is attempting to trade Ben Askren for former UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson. Trades within rosters are typical in the NFL or MLB. However, a fighter trade has never been done by a prominent MMA promotion.
Taking to Twitter, Ben Askren has since decided to call out the UFC’s welterweight division in the wake of the historic news.
