Back in July, UFC President Dana White was pretty stoked when Miesha Tate was able to make weight for UFC 200. The UFC head even showed Tate a little excited affection.
Former bantamweight champion Miesha Tate was near missing weight for UFC 200, but managed to come in under the scale. As a result, UFC 200’s main event was on. Tate was set to face Amanda Nunes in a title fight main event.
Tate would go on to lose to Nunes in the very first round by way of rear-naked choke.
At any rate, White seemed pretty stoked for the event in the video below. Watch the UFC president give the former champion a peck on the cheek.
